In 1969 Baron started producing solid brass belt buckles for the leather industry. After remaining one of the industry leaders in the belt buckle industry, the Baron family knew they needed to expand to the upcoming trends and demands which they did so in the late 1970’s. This is when Baron integrated its metal manufacturing and distribution skills to the automotive industry. In the late 1970’s the solid brass License Plate Frame was born.
The 1980’s Baron started really making their presence known in the automotive industry. They started with personalized license plate frames for unique individuals that rapidly evolved into mass market, mail order, automotive dealerships, motorcycle dealerships and personal engravers. In 1986 Baron became Baron & Baron, Inc. and was the industry leaders in manufacturing and distribution of high end automotive and novelty metal products. Over the years Baron & Baron, Inc. has continued to work with several major automotive and promotional company’s, for example, Harley-Davidson, GM Family, Chrysler Family, Ford Family, Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infiniti, Walt Disney, Jack Daniels, U.S. Postal Service and many, many more.
In 1997 Baron & Baron Inc. started License Frame, Inc. (LFI) as Baron’s sister company. LFI already having a major connection in the manufacturing and distribution started to produce more automotive licensable products like License Plate Frames, Trailer Hitch Covers, Vanity Front License Plates and Key Chains. LFI focused on promotional items for companies in the ASI and PPAI industry. LFI’s main focus was in the retail industry such as engraves, kiosks, car washes, specialty stores, automotive dealerships, aftermarket and OEM. This industry includes promotional products for corporate companies such as imprinted slogans and logo’s on License Plate frames, Trailer Hitch Covers, Vanity Front License Plates, Key Chains and Fashion Jewelry.
Today Baron & Baron, Inc. and License Frame Inc. (LFI) continue to work as one. Every year they are always working to find new ways we can expand. Recently in 2006 we made a huge break through with our fashion jewelry line. They have worked with companies like Amway, to create and manufacture a fashionable Charm Bracelet. They are one of the pioneers in the automotive and promotion products industry. Their service and quality has been unmatched for the last 40 years.
